Floortime Therapist (Part Time 5-10 hours/week)

WE ARE CURRENTLY LOOKING FOR THERAPISTS IN THE THOUSAND OAKS/CAMARILLO AREAS. AFTERNOON AVAILABILITY PREFERRED.

HOURLY RATES BETWEEN $18-$27 PER HOUR, DEPENDING ON EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE.

Job Description:

Floortime Therapists provide services either in the client's home or school. School support usually involves supporting the child with his behavioral IEP goals which may include supporting social interaction, decreasing aggressive behaviors, or increasing behaviors which support academic progress. In-home support usually involves helping a child develop emotionally and behaviorally using play based approaches or behavioral techniques. Clients range in age from 2 years up to 12 years.

Minimum requirements:

Bachelors degree in psychology, education, child development, communication, or related field (consideration will be given to applicants who are in the process of attaining their bachelors degree).

1 year experience providing Floortime therapy (play-based therapy) with children (college level courses in these fields may also be considered).

Valid California drivers license. Current vehicle insurance.

Department of Justice fingerprint clearance.

TB test clearance.

At least 18 years of age.

Speech-Language Pathologist

WE ARE CURRENTLY LOOKING FOR CANDIDATES FOR THE WOODLAND HILLS AREA.

We are looking for a Clinic based Speech Pathologist to expand this future program. Speech Therpist must be a graduate from an accredited program and hold current state license from the California Speech Language and Audiology Board. This is an ideal position for someone who wants the flexibility and to be in control of their own schedule.
