About Us

Children's Developmental Milestones was founded on the belief that parents are the strongest advocates for their child. We strive to empower parents through training and education because when parents are involved in their child's therapy, the greatest success is achieved.

Meet Our Founders

Lisel Storck received her Masters Degree in School Psychology from the University of Delaware. After graduating, Lisel began work as a special education school psychologist focusing on early intervention and autism in a large school district in Maryland. After moving to California, she took positions in private agencies where she worked for several years providing behavioral and assessment services before opening her own agency.

Currently a Licensed Educational Psychologist (LEP) and a National Certified School Psychologist (NCSP), Lisel specializes in the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of children with autism. Trained in both Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) and DIR/Floortime, she assists families, Regional Centers and school districts with the development of individualized educational and behavioral programs. Lisel is currently a Level II candidate for Certification in DIR/Floortime.

Lisel is also passionate about advocating for children's rights under special education law. She strives to help parents navigate through the often complicated process of initiating services available from Regional Centers and school districts. She also assists in developing special education programs (known as Individualized Education Programs, IEPs).

Eileen Gholizadeh received her Masters Degree in Clinical Psychology with specialization in Marriage and Family Therapy from Antioch University, Los Angeles. Eileen is a certified Behavioral Intervention Case Manager (BICM) and is a trained administrator of the Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule (ADOS). She is currently completing the requirements for Pivotal Response Treatment certification. (PRT)

Eileen is bilingual in English and Farsi and has extensive experience working with Multi Cultural Families. She has been working with children with autism for over 12 years and has been designing Discrete Trial Teaching programs using behavior modification techniques. She is highly experienced in the field, designing and implementing behavioral and floortime programs in both home and school settings, supervising and training staff, training for generalization of skills, working with teachers, and coaching parents. Additionally, Eileen has extensive experience in developing and leading Social Skill Programs.
