Autism is a spectrum that touches each child differently. We’re here to guide and support you as you learn not only about the specific needs of your child but also the ways in which you can help. At CDM, we provide Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA), Adaptive Skills Training, School Support, and Insurance Verification Support.
From initiation of services once a diagnosis is made to supporting the transition to school, college and beyond, we can provide the support you need to nurture your child’s emotional, social, and behavioral development.
ABA
CDM’s Applied Behavioral Analysis program uses a naturalistic approach of teaching procedures tailored to your child’s needs. Sessions aim to utilize your child’s natural interests and motivation to promote development of new skills and encourage desired behaviors.
Adaptive Skills
CDM’s Adaptive Skills program supports children struggling less with behavioral challenges and more with daily living skills. Help with self-care, leisure skills, socialization, health and safety, and community skills fosters a child’s ability to become more independent.
School Support
CDM provides Behavioral Interventionists, also known as “shadows” or “aides”, in the school setting to help decrease behaviors such as non-compliance and aggression. Our aides can also support your child’s classroom social skills, and attention and learning challenges.
Insurance Support
We can help you navigate the complex world of insurance coverage and will support you throughout the entire process. We are with you every step of the way. From obtaining initial authorization for Applied Behavioral Analysis services to trouble shooting coverage issues, we do it all.
Intensive Academic Support
Enjoy the benefits of 1:1 in home and /or center based academic support for your child. All of our highly skilled support specialists have been background checked and have ABA experience working with children and young adults of all skill levels and abilities. We provide a positive learning environment where your child can safely learn skills to effectively improve their academic growth and success as well as build self-esteem and confidence. We can help with homework, organization and time management, study skills, note taking, and following directions. Whatever your child is struggling with in school, we can help!
